Ginny is the daughter of Posy by Andrew. Andrew isMulti Ch Bydand Flashy Pride, from Charly x Panda. He belongs to Bob & Edna Black. In June of 2008, Andrew took BOB from the Veteran Class at the Blue Ridge Silklover's Classic! Ginny is the class clown at Elfin. Like her dam, Posy, she has a definite mind of her own and a quirky sense of humor.
Update: In June of 2009, Ginny went to work with the Trinity social workers and is in training to be a full time therapy dog. She finished her HSDAA Championship handled by her new owner, Dione Fields at the Blue Ridge Classic in June 2009. We are very proud of Ginny and know that she will be bringing much happiness to many at her new job.

Ginny is a homebody and has a definite mind of her own. Going to dog shows was not her favorite activity but she was a good sport about it. When she finished her Championship I told her, "You did it! You're done! You don't have to go to shows anymore." The next day, though, I decided to just take her to one more show as she finished on a Sat and was already entered on Sunday. Well, Ginny took me at my word...in the show ring, ready for the go around she simply stopped in her tracks, gave me THE look...and that was that. The little mule was not moving...grin.
When we started our Silk Dog shows, however, I took Ginny to the very first one, at VA Beach in Nov 2007. There she earned 2 Majors. She seemed to enjoy the Silk shows...no balking!
So, in 2008, Ginny the homebody was bred and presented us with a lovely litter of 5 puppies. You can meet them at 'Our Puppies'...Ginny's Jazz Quintet. Ginny is an excellent mother.
Ginny stayed in excellent condition while raising her litter and was ready to go to the HSDAA National in Nov 2008 where she picked up 2 more majors and an Award of Merit. Ginny needs 1 more point to finish her HSDAA CH. In January 2009, at the Tarheel Classic, Ginny's daughter, Nina, picked up 2 majors at her first two shows!
